Framework rework — done and pushed

Packet registries (both sides), event pipeline, and settings merge/migration are all confirmed working on real Sandbox traffic. See the plan entry.

Reverse proxy & settings reorg — done, deployed to Sandbox

Embedded Host-header subdomain reverse proxy, Settings/ reorganized to 7 files (Connection/Http/Cluster/Admin/Logging/Navigation/WorldState), destination-based per-category logging. Currently disabled by default on Sandbox pending further testing. See the plan entry or the new Settings reference page.

The /documentation documentation site — live

Serving live off disk from each repo's own Web/ folder — no recompile needed to edit a page, including this planning section. Reorganized 2026-08-17 under Web/Backend/ (architecture, plugin-guide, planning, and the new settings reference all live there now). See the plan entry.

Next up: RKDev, then RKClient core systems

A dev/test plugin built through the real UpdateAware/registerPlugin lifecycle from the start — unlike the retired RKFramworkTest throwaway, which was hand-deployed and caused two real bugs from exactly that (see Bugs). Not created yet as of this note. First step of a longer build order — input (keys/mouse), an asset loader, a base UI dock, and toast notifications — all still design stage, see the new RKClient Core Systems reference page.

After that

Decide what the first real feature plugin is. Nothing committed yet — Currency was only ever the running example used to talk through the framework design, not a decision. See Plans & ideas for the full unscoped list.
